Free for HudCo members, $10 to public. Kids use recycled materials to create scenes and tiny props and imagine their own little worlds. Ages 5-11.
Jodi Levine, nationally known craft expert, is hosting a Kids Club to introduce us all to Mouse, of her new book Mousetown.
Mouse loves to collect and reuse bottlecaps, tins, and boxes for crafts ranging from mini pies, a milk carton house and a tiny wagon! Mouse (and best friend Ginger) work together in Mousetown’s bakery and are the tiny stars of this book.
At the HudCo Kids Club event, Jodi will lead kids ages 5-11 to build miniature items and scenes from the book. She'll also have crafts from the book on display!—
In Mousetown, an inventive craft and story book, you can follow Mouse through their day from getting ready to traveling to work, closing shop, grocery shopping, party prep, and throwing a surprise party for their friend, Ginger. There are 30+ crafty activities throughout the book that use recycled materials to recreate the story's scenes and tiny props so kids can follow along or make their own mini worlds!
Jodi will happily sign copies of Mousetown purchased at Picture Book (in HudCo)—available to purchase here through ticket links or on site.
